Men's jewellery in India has quietly exploded, and bracelets are where most guys start. This is the guide we wish existed when we launched our men's collection.
The four styles
Kada
A solid cuff or closed bangle. The most Indian of the four and the most versatile. Wear one on the dominant wrist with nothing else.
Cuban link
Flat interlocking links. Reads streetwear. Looks best slightly loose, in gold or black.
Cable bracelet
A twisted wire cuff, often with a hook or screw clasp. Clean and minimal, sits well under a shirt cuff.
Beaded or leather
Casual, good for stacking with a steel piece. Not water-safe, so take it off for the shower.
Which wrist
Opposite your watch. If you do not wear a watch, your non-dominant wrist so it does not knock the desk all day.
Why steel
Men sweat more and wash hands more. Brass bracelets go green within a month. 316L stainless steel does not react, does not bend and takes a black, silver or gold finish that stays. Every piece in our men's bracelets range is steel.
Gifting
Bracelets are the safest jewellery gift for men because sizing is forgiving. Pair one with a women's piece from the bangle collection for a his-and-hers set.
Quick answers
What size bracelet do men usually need?
Most men fit a 7.5 to 8.5 inch chain bracelet or a 2.6 to 2.8 inch kada. Our product pages list the inner diameter.
Can I wear a bracelet with a watch?
Yes, on the opposite wrist. On the same wrist, choose a thin bracelet so the two do not scratch each other.
Does black steel fade?
Our black finishes are PVD coated, which is far more durable than paint. With normal wear it keeps its colour.
Is it a good gift for a brother or boyfriend?
Bracelets are the easiest men's jewellery gift because sizing is forgiving. See the full range.
